Hey fellow dads,
There's a basketball game most Sundays at the Burlingame Sports Center on Rollins Road starting around 7:30 am typically. The game was started by a couple Lincoln dads some time ago, and we need more players to get a consistent run in.
Everyone tries pretty hard but it's a friendly game -- all skill levels welcome. If you're looking for some exercise (or you need it, or your wife thinks you need it) that is actually fun, then come on…

My husband is allergic to shellfish but we still want to come to the Lobsterfest. Are there any non-fish options? Thanks! Jeanmarie LaBonte (husband Ray)

Any suggestions for movie night? I've heard one nomination for the original Pink Panther movie (1963 version), which I remember was the funniest movie I saw as a kid. Any others?
Comment with suggestions.

BHS Varsity Football is back and the next game is this Friday! Come on out and support the Panthers as they take on Homestead at 7pm at BHS. Fresh off the Panther 21-3 win last Friday at Gunn HS, notable Lincoln alumnus Brian Atkinson had this to say about the win: "Yeah, it was close for a while, but we knew if we outscored them we could probably win the game." Waterboy and spirit leader Scott Atkinson chimed in, "And the post-game snacks were awesome!" Get out, enjoy the weather and…

Some of you veterans know this. I had to find out. I went to the Rec Center and spoke with Andrew -- coordinator of school sports.
There is a waiting list of 23 kids on the Lincoln Football program. Teams play with 7 on a side. Limited blocking and hand-offs allowed (in addition to passing). Games are Tuesdays OR Thursdays. usually about 6 or 7 games total. Practices are whenever coaches / parents agree.
So we have enough kids for 3 teams. Do we have enough coaches? That…

"The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in Burlingame." Isn't that how Mark Twain's quote goes? After a scorching pancake breakfast last year, we took this one inside to escape the wind and the cold. But everyone had fun and the turnout was still fantastic. 337 people chowed down. We raised $1,218 to start the year off. Thanks everyone for helping out!
